I had a 1:30 reservation and the host was kind enough to accommodate my party and I. I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, which is very important to have in an establishment that is fairly new, and thriving for greatness. This restaurant offers a breath of fresh air when it comes to quality customer servicing. We were then seated, where Nessa was our waitress. She was so kind and swift with taking our order. She was informative and had a great deal of patience if you are a picky person. The drinks are REAL DRINKS and the food was breathtakingly good. The complimentary wonton chips/fried plaintain chips were definitely a staple that MUST STAY! I had the Crab Cake and the Lobster W. Waffles (red velvet substitution). They were both tasty and the presentation was immaculate. The owner was attentive and ensured that my visit was well worth the time traveling to this establishment. Definitely would recommend. Music is decent and in the ceiling, so you can hear your loved ones talk while communicating.
Angel I believe was the name of our server and he was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive and made sure he provided us with information and even asked about food allergies. We thought we were going for Brunch but Lunch was not bad at all. We will be going back to the location to see what Brunch would be like the next time we visit the state.
Mt wife and decided to come here for brunch which is only on Sundays so I booked a reservation for 12pm since that's the time they open but I'm sure you can just want in and get a table we did have a hard time finding parking but where the restaurant is located its kinda hard to find and places to park but we got lucky we found a parking spot about 2 blocks from the restaurant once we arrived were greated and seated immediately when got the the table our waiter greated us and give some complementary chips with this nice sweet dipping sauce and we got some sparkling water once we finished looking through the menu we first ordered our drinks I had the rum punch which was mad good and strong my wife ordered a lychee martini but she didn't like cause it just had no coconut cream so it was as sweet to her liking but our waiter give so many great recommendations so she order this other drink that had more if a creamy coconut flavor with mint that was good for our main course we had chicken and waffles the chicken had the Dave's hot honey and the waffles had red velvet swirl in them they were very fluffy and the chicken was fried perfectly and nice size chicken as well you get a thigh and a leg the food was good I finished everything and the vibes were mad good they played some good music reggae even jasmine Sullivan all in all we had such a great time big shout out to our waiter he was so good
Incredible food! Every single dish was crazy. The snapper and jerk rib were amazing. The rib bao and dumplings too. Best upscale Caribbean food I’ve had. 10/10 on all the food. Didn’t like the refresh mint drink. Service was helpful and friendly. Music was louder than I like, but it was great song choices! I’ll definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our late brunch experience @czen. David took a very good care of us. Their short ribs and sea bass were exquisite, but the crab cake was even better. I think next time I'll order that as a main dish! Unfortunately we didn't have enough space left for desserts - so even more reasons to come back.
This is one of my favorite Caribbean upscale restaurants, as a Jamaican born and raised the oxtail dinner and the red snapper dinner never disappoints. The deals are endless to all day happy hour on Wednesdays and taco and tequila deals on Tuesday the options are limitless. The staff is also nice attentive and they have truly curated a vibe for a great dining experience
Had a great early evening experience here with my husband. Just moved to the area and found this place. DJ was the gentleman who tended to us and gave us recs. We got the jammin and marg for cocktails and the chicken eggroll and mango habanero wings. Everything was really good. Would highly recommend and will def come back
Came for second Saturday brunch, ordered the drinks with bourbon, cognac, orange curacao, rose sage bitters (Across the Pond) and Captain Morgan rum, coconut creme, and mint (Summertime Fly), and mimosas. Our server, DJ, was great and provided a lot of great recommendations from the menu. We ordered curry shrimp and grits, egg and tuna Benedict, wings, and Crab cakes. The crab cakes were the best!!!! The DJ and mc for the day party were good too. I was only on town for a day but would return and visit this place.
